Iraqi Dinar
Overseen by the Central Bank of Iraq, the newly designed Iraqi Dinar was officially introduced in October 2003 and consists of six denominations, all of which are paper currency. The new currency was printed by DeLaRue, based in England and has been incorporated with many of the very latest security features. Some of these include watermarks, raised letters & numbers, metallic threads, multi-coloured inks, colour-changing symbols and additional secret security features. This drastically reduces the ability to produce counterfeits.
